Waiheke Wine Tour Prices

Waiheke wine tour prices compared: what US$104, US$163 and US$202 buy, which tours include lunch, tasting fees and the ferry, and the cost on your own (Oct 2026).

Updated October 2026

A guided Waiheke wine tour costs from about US$104 to US$202 a person on GetYourGuide (October 2026), and the price climbs with what is included: the cheapest leave lunch and the ferry to you, the middle ones add lunch with a glass of wine, and the dearest add food tastings, spirits or a smaller group. For the lowest price with a guide, book Enjoi’s wineries tour, from US$104 a person, or Waiheke Wine Tours’ three-vineyard day, from US$107 a person (checked October 2026). Add a return ferry from Auckland, NZ$65 for an adult walk-up on Fullers360’s fares, to every tour but one.

What the extra money buys

Map of the Hauraki Gulf with the ferry route from Auckland's Downtown ferry terminal to Matiatia on Waiheke Island, Oneroa and Onetangi, Cable Bay and Mudbrick near the ferry, and Stonyridge, Tantalus and Te Motu on Onetangi Road
Where the tours go: the ferry lands at Matiatia; Cable Bay and Mudbrick are near the wharf, Stonyridge, Tantalus and Te Motu on Onetangi Road.

Lunch. The gap between the two Waiheke Wine Tours days, US$107 and US$163, is mostly lunch: the dearer one books you into 372 on the Onetangi beachfront with a glass of wine, the cheaper one stops at Batch Winery or Charlie Farley’s and you order and pay there.

A smaller group or a different mix. The Wine Tasting Company caps its Sip and Savour day at 11 guests a vehicle, Ananda’s gourmet tour at 15, and WOW Tours’ wine, gin and olive oil day at 11. The gourmet and Taste & Graze days swap one tasting for olive oil, oysters, beer or spirits.

The ferry. Only Fullers360’s Taste of Waiheke includes the return ferry. On the others, budget a standard walk-up return at NZ$65 for an adult on Fullers360’s fares (October 2026). Fullers’ NZ$48.50 off-peak return only applies when you leave Auckland from 1pm and Waiheke from 7pm, bought a day ahead, so it does not fit a morning tour.

The cost on your own

Doing it yourself is cheaper only if you keep to two or three tastings. Fullers360’s ferry and hop-on hop-off bus ticket is from US$59 (checked October 2026). The cellar doors then charge for each flight: Tantalus NZ$25 for four estate wines, Stonyridge NZ$35 for its Signature Tasting, Mudbrick NZ$22 to NZ$31 (each vineyard’s own site, October 2026). Lunch is on top. Waiheke wine tasting prices lists the flights, and wine tour or hop-on hop-off weighs the two.

What reviewers say about value

On Enjoi’s tour, the cheapest guided day, 281 of the newest 350 reviews give five stars, but some guests in early 2026 wrote that they visited three wineries and an olive oil producer instead of four wineries, or shared the bus with more than the 10 the listing promises. On Waiheke Wine Tours’ three-vineyard day, 264 of 323 reviews give five stars; one guest in October 2026 asked for lunch prices before ordering, since lunch is at your own cost. On the beachfront lunch tour, 310 of the newest 350 reviews give five stars.
